GUI Prototyper for HRtech Startup Platform Intern

Responsibilities

  • Develop an interactive graphical user interface GUI prototype that can later be integrated with a backend & distributed on web/iOS/Android

  • Gather and evaluate prototype requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers

  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps

  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, buttons, widgets, etc.

  • Develop user interface mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate function and style

  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)

  • Identify and troubleshoot problems

  • Create/adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images

    Minimum Requirements – You really should have…

    • Sense of curiosity and a “we can change the world” mindset

    • Apple Mac Laptop + iPhone; iOS is the starting point for our product, but will later integrate Android and web, so

      we will be open to those backgrounds, as well

    • Fluent written and verbal English communications skills (English is the company language)

    • Basic familiarity with vector-based graphic design tools (Illustrator or equivalent tools)

    • Basic familiarity with prototyping tools (Sketch, Flinto, or equivalent)

    • Current studies in the areas of computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent

    • Strong communications skillset that thrives in a collaborative environment, i.e. communicating with people with

      diverse backgrounds and language sets; possess a “we are all in this together type of mentality”

    • Solid technical background, with an understanding of software development and web technologies

    • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

    • Deep Apple iOS/Mac OS experience with familiarity of Android and web platforms

    • Ability to translate ideas and processes into user interface wireframes and actionable technical tasks

    • Ability to tap into your network to help us build a world-class (Apple-quality, but diverse) technical team

      You will find success if you also have (or desire to have)

  • Familiarity in lean startup methodology

  • Experience working with Swift 3/Xcode/other user interface and development tools

  • Experience in agile software development

  • Understanding of artificial intelligence and blockchain, as these may become critical to project success

  • Ability to reference key elements and maintain adherence to Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Android

Social Media and Podcast Intern

 

Responsibilities and stuff you’ll be learning:

  •  Research and create a list podcasts that cover the cross over of marketing in startups.
  • Find data about subscribers, frequency of publication, format of show (i.e., 2-person interview, solo monologue, etc.)
  • Determine podcasting and social media best practices (i.e., what makes them successful)
  • Create a list of relevant keywords that people might search to find our podcasts and social media posts
  • Update older blog posts
  • Develop a spreadsheet of podcast guests (with the title of “Founder,” “Chief,” or “Head” at the front of the title)
  • Learn how to produce and edit podcast episodes
  • Pre-interview guests to develop lists of possible questions for podcast episodes
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Adhere to style standards on content

Minimum Requirements – You really should have…

  • Apple Mac Laptop (latest PC could be possible – we need to explore it) + iPhone or iPad (this is must-have).
  • Fluent written and verbal English communications skills (English is the company language)

  • Basic familiarity with vector-based and raster-based graphic design tools (Illustrator/Photoshop, or equivalent tools)
  • Current studies in the areas of computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent
  • Strong communications skillset that thrives in a collaborative environment, i.e. communicating with people with diverse backgrounds and language sets; possess a “we are all in this together type of mentality”
  • Organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to tap into your network to find the people to help us all create the best content
  • Familiarity with common Apple and Google platforms. Our tech stack includes Mac OS 10.14, iOS 13, Audacity, Slack, SEMrush, and other useful tools.
  • Experience working with people
  • Understanding how to perform basic research through common search engines and directories
